Establishment of Our Faculty
Our Faculty was established following a decision by the Council of Ministers on April 29, 2013, in accordance with Article 30 of Law No. 2809 dated March 28, 1983. The establishment was officially published in the Official Gazette on May 31, 2013, with Decision No. 2013/4716.
Within our Faculty, there are the following departments: Horticulture, Plant Protection, Biosystems Engineering, Food Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Fisheries Engineering, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Biotechnology, Field Crops, Soil Science and Plant Nutrition, and Animal Science.
Our Faculty began admitting undergraduate and graduate students to the Horticulture Department in the 2014-2015 academic year and to the Field Crops Department in the 2018-2019 academic year for both undergraduate and graduate programs.
Our Faculty plans to start accepting students into the Plant Protection Department in the 2024-2025 academic year.
Our Faculty has a total of 21 academic staff members, consisting of 3 Professors, 9 Associate Professors, 4 Assistant Professors, and 5 Research Assistants. The total personnel includes 5 administrative staff, 5 security personnel, and 2 permanent workers, making up a staff of 35.
